Since 2004, Upstate HomeCare has provided vascular access services in medical facilities, physician offices, and patient homes. PICC lines are inserted at the bedside, utilizing portable ultrasound placement. Our expertise provides numerous benefits to patients and healthcare providers, whether the patient is at home or in the hospital.

In addition to our technical competence, we:

• can demonstrate a decrease in catheter infection rates.
• will set up programs designed to decrease length of stay.
• can offer case management servces to identify those patients who could benefit from early discharge and home services.
• can provide these services faster and more cost-effectively than sending these patients to Interventional Radiology or to an Emergency Department for line placement.
